Matt and I make all of our meals together. One of us usually cooks for the other.. we have a limited number of meals we choose from; stir fry, pasta, chicken and potato, pizza (possibly this is the entire repetoire).

Everytime Matt cooks I fawn over every morsal: Oh Matt, thank you for cooking and not being afraid to embrace a new and more domestic gender role. Oh, look at us, we're so progressive!

When I cook Matt complains. Tonight I made pasta with chicken, green and red peppers... all of this after a long day in the lab. And I dared, dared, to try and put brocoli and onion in it. Matt turned into his inner-12 year old and whined, "I always wondered why my Mom couldn't make my pasta sauce in one pan and the rest of the family's in another." Am I your Mother Matt?? I don't think this is a gender stereotype issue, I think it's soley based in prepubesence.
